Courses

Here are a few examples of my courses. "Animals in Literature" directly contends with literature's relationship to human exceptionalism. Distinctions between humans and non-humans emerge as a surprisingly fundamental theme in "Making/Unmaking Britain." Finally, "Mimic Forms" illustrates a broader phenomenon: literature's power to disrupt notions of the natural, normal, or everyday.
